Sunday School
Sunday School is one of our weekly opportunities to grow together as we study God's Word! We offer a virtual option at 7:30 AM every Sunday. In-Person Sunday School will return in Spring 2024. Stay tuned for more information from our Education Ministry!
Wednesday Gatherings
Our Wednesday Gatherings are a time of fellowship, teaching, and learning! Our classes are family friendly and we encourage you to come out to grow together. Wednesday fellowship meals are provided by our Friendship & Fellowship Ministry. We begin at 6:00 PM and end at 7:30 PM!

Meet Pastor Jones
Pastor Vernon Jones Jr.
Pastor Jones serves as the pastor-elect of UCM. His family has deep roots in the Denver community, having been in Denver since 1960 and in Montbello since 1967.
Pastor Jones began preaching in 1993 and began serving as a Youth Pastor in 1998. In 2003 he received his first lead pastoral assignment at Kinship Church. Since then, he has served congregations at True Light Baptist Church, Restoration Christian Fellowship, and now here at UCM.
Over his 20 years of pastoral service, Pastor Jones has simultaneously served our community through work in the Denver Public Schools. He has been an educator, a school and executive leader at Manual High School, Omar D. Blair Charter School, and the Northeast Denver Innovation Zone (NDIZ). He continues to lead in the education ecosystem as the Executive Leader of FaithBridge. Pastor Jones serves on the boards of Mentor Colorado, Colorado Humanities, and MOC and The Children's Campaign.
Pastor Jones has been married to Mrs. Jaymie since July of 1998. They have five children: Savanna, Nathan, Caleb, Lily, and Brooklyn. They have also been recently blessed with two grandchildren, Harlym and Nehemiah.
